Since I\’m not sure that\’s supposed to be removed/replaced, I\’d be careful if you attempt that, so you don\’t stretch it too much and cause a split (at the seam probably).

I don\’t know if this was intended, but I noted that the frame is easy to remove, perhaps if you wanted to use the mirror frameless. I took advantage of this and rotated the frame, so that the rubber seam was at the bottom of the mirror, which made it much less noticeable to me.
